Downtown Clarkston, Depot park and Deer Lake has been the site for this event for 8 years. It has become a true hometown event with the city of Clarkston residents coming out all over the course and the event welcomes over 50 Clarkston residents who actually participate in the event. Downtown Clarkston is well known for its quaint shops downtown and impeccable restaurant choices. We close Depot park for 24 hrs. for the event with the pre and post race festivities right in the park, transition area right in the road. The swim will be another out and back rectangle swim in clear, clean Deer Lake. A short 500m jaunt up to Depot park. The bike will keep you in Clarkston for a straight out and back x 2 right through the residential area where hundreds of residents will be cheering you on. Finally a 2 loop run around Depot Park again with residents cheering you on every step of the way before an exhillerating finish right inside the park.
