Enjoy the majestic beauty of the Cape Cod National Seashore in one of the most unique endurance races. Three distances from which to choose — plus you can race by yourself or form a team of two. Brought to you by race directors with an established record for stellar multisport events throughout New England.
Course Information:
There are three distances to SwimRun Cape Cod this year: Long Course (new!): approximately 18 miles of running and up to 3 miles of swimming across 8-9 bodies of water Medium Course: approx. 12 miles of running and 2 miles of swimming with 6-7 water crossings Short Course: approx. 6 miles of running and 1.25 miles of swimming (3 water crossings)

SOLO OR 2-PERSON TEAMS Like most swim-run competitions, we welcome solo competitors or teams of two athletes. New this year: all three distances may be raced solo or by two-person teams. Both members of a team race the entire course together. Mixed teams and single-sex teams are tabulated separately for awards and honors. PART OF MY SWIMRUN CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES SwimRun Cape Cod is one of 12 events in the My SwimRun series of races held worldwide. You can earn a spot in the World Championships by winning your class at SwimRun Cape Cod or by accruing points toward a championship berth. In June of 2026, the championships will be held in Deckerspitz, Austria. Qualified athletes from SwimRun Cape Cod may compete at the 2027 World Championships (location to be announced).
