Donner Lake Sprint Triathlon Swim, bike, and run in one of the most stunning alpine settings in the country. The Donner Lake Sprint Triathlon features a crystal-clear open-water swim, a scenic bike ride, and a fast, challenging run — all set against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada. Perfect for first-timers and seasoned racers alike, this is a must-do summer classic. The Donner Lake Kids Triathlon is an actual triathlon featuring the swim-bike-run classic format. The focus and emphasis is to provide an opportunity for kids to experience the sport of triathlon. The distance of the course is age-appropriate. A finishing medal is offered to all the kids recognized as a group during the awards ceremony.
