  • Swim is out and back in Big Lake, wetsuit recommended.
  • Scenic road bike course with rolling hills on paved roads.
  • Run a flat out and back on paved path.

  • Big Lake, Alaska is located approximately 60 road miles or 15 minutes by plane north of Anchorage.

  • Take Parks Highway to Big Lake turnoff, at the Y stay right on North Shore Drive and follow it to the end of the road, which is the North Shore Wayside Recreational Area.

  • All day parking will be next to the Chamber office on the corner of Big Lake Road and Hollywood.
  • No wayside fees for dropoffs but $5.00 if you wish to stay parked at the campground.
  • Proceeds benefit Big Lake Chamber of Commerce.
