2026 Cal Tri Newport Dunes:
Started in 1978 as the Human Race Triathlon, Cal Tri Newport Dunes is the longest running triathlon in the world operating from the same location. Whether you're interested in outdoor adventures or family-friendly activities, this race has it all. John Wayne Airport (SNA) is a mere 4 miles from both the race venue, the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina and our host hotel, The Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. From there, everything that Orange County has to offer is within reach. Visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, featuring thrilling rides, entertainment, and iconic characters. Explore the shops and restaurants of Balboa Island. This serves as the Cal Tri Events National Championship Race with registration in the 1500-2000 range.
