_The 2026 Cal Tri Charlottesville:
Swim, bike and run in Charlottesville located in Central Virginia approximately 100 miles southwest of Washington, D.C. and 70 miles northwest of Richmond. This race starts with a pool swim which is very beginner friendly for athletes who are testing the waters for the first time.
Course Information:
Athletes are responsible to study and know the course. The race has 7 separate events and 2 different starting points. Every event that includes a swim discipline starts at the pool. The 5K and RunBikeRun events start at the race finish line. We highly recommend that athletes familiarize themselves with the bike and run course by driving or riding it prior to the race if possible.
