August 7, Wednesday:
• Packet Pick-up Albuquerque, Sport Systems 3:00-6pm
August 9, Friday:
• Packet Pick-up Santa Rosa, Blue Hole Convention Center 3:00-6:00 pm
• Lake open for optional swim 4-5:00 pm
August 10, Saturday:
• Transition Area open from 5:30-7 am
• packet pickup 5:30-6:15 am
• Mandatory Athlete Meeting at 7am
• Olympic Start 7:15 am
• Sprint Start immediately following Olympic start
• Sprint Award Ceremony 9:45 am
• Olympic Award Ceremony 10:45 am
Swim: 750 meter loop, swim one or two times – in Twin Lake – diamond shape course, counter clockwise swim.
Bike: 20 K (12.5 miles) out and back course – one time for sprint race, two laps for Olympic race, on incredibly scenic and slightly hilly terrain. Course is on newly paved roads that generally have very light traffic. There will be volunteer support along the route, but there are no major intersections. There will be one aid station on the bike course at the turn around point and there will be a sag wagon on the course.
Run: 5 K (3.1 miles) – route goes into town utilizing the sidewalk and road shoulder. Small portion on dirt coming out of transition. There will be two water stations. The Olympic will pass these stations twice.
