_The 2024 Lucky Coin Multisport Series (#1) - Stratford:
A fast and flat youth triathlon course in the Mt. Vernon/Ft. Hunt area. This is the fourth annual Lucky Coin race based out of Stratford Recreation Association's pool and parking lot. Three more races coming this summer. Register now to guarantee your athlete receives a race t-shirt. We will order a few extra of the most popular sizes for late registrations.
Course Information:
6-10 Year-olds:
Swim 50 Meters Bike 1.45 Miles Run 0.55 Miles
11-15 Year-olds:
Swim 150 Meters Bike 4.35 Miles Run 1.10 Miles
Pool swim of the appropriate distance in a 25 meter pool followed by a five turn out and back ride, mostly on Stockton Parkway. With only five turns (plus turnaround) on the single loop course and three turns (per loop) on the 1-3 loop run course, this course is great for beginners. The ride is followed by a mostly flat sidewalk run around the block, one or three loops depending on the athlete’s age.
