_ The 2023 Fire Aid 5k & 10K:
This race is a 5k & 10k on a relatively flat terrain with a beautiful fall back drop in Lincoln City, Oregon. In the fall of 2020, wildfires devastated many parts of Oregon including Lincoln County, People lost their homes, areas were evacuated and all right in the middle of the Covid pandemic. Lincoln County Fire and Rescue worked non-stop hours to control the fires and save many homes. This race was created as a fundraiser for those heros to show them how much they are appreciated. It was such a success, that we just kept it going and here we are 4 races later.
