This 5K course at East Rock Park in New Haven, CT is sponsored by Yale New Haven Hospital and Yale Pediatrics. Our 5K event is hosted by staff from the Pediatric ICU at Yale New Haven Hospital in support of/and conjunction with the nonprofit organization MGY.
During this 5K fundraising event, every dollar and gift will be counted towards our ambitious goal of supporting the missions of MGY in expanding health resources to regions of dire need. Northern Uganda currently has a child mortality rate of 1:10 due to the scarcity of basic health care prevention and attention to needs. Your participation and support will directly affect the lives of thousands as we pursue building the first hospital in this region.
Please join us as we walk, hike and run our way to the top of East Rock and back, while supporting a cause that will make a difference in the lives of many.
