_The 2023 McConnell AFB Tanker Trot:
Ever wished you could RUN an Air Force Base for a day? Well, now you can! Sign up today for the Tanker Trot! We welcome families and kids to join the race as well! Strollers welcome!
The Tanker Trot is a brand-new event that combines community involvement, fitness, and the excitement of military aircraft all in one fun-filled day. Immediately following the race is the McConnell AFB Annual Car Show! Your registration fee includes a race tee shirt, race bib and timing chip, and custom finisher patch! All proceeds go towards hosting events for Airmen and their families at McConnell AFB.
Course Information:
**Due to military security regulations, all non-DOD Cardholders must apply for Base Access below. This includes all racers, racer\'s family, friends and other race supporters. NON-DOD CARDHOLDERS WHO DO NOT APPLY FOR ACCESS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED ON RACE DAY.**
Directions:
Our course takes you on a journey through the beautiful and historic McConnell Air Force Base. You\'ll get the chance to run alongside the flight line and see key buildings that support the unique Air Refueling Air Force mission as you make your way through the course. This 10K/5K walk/run is perfect for both experienced runners and beginners looking for a fun and challenging event.
