Goya Foods is the presenting sponsor for the first annual Britta's Chase 5K in Color. This event is being held in conjunction with the launch of the Meant to Soar Foundation. Meant to Soar is a non profit 501 (c)(3) foundation established to support the needs of children - who through no fault of their own, have experienced trauma from parental drug / alcohol addiction, or scarring from human trafficking.
Many of these children have been adopted into loving families, however, fractures of the heart often surface once safe in a child’s new home. Adoptive parents are often overwhelmed. Through Meant To Soar, our challenge is to see these children not only survive the critical developmental years, but to be over-comers and to soar in the fullness as they were created
