_ The 2023 Take a Walk in Her Boots:

We invite you to join us for our 1st Take a Walk in Her Boots 5k & 1k Fun Run/Walk. This event is to recognize, honor, and celebrate Women Veterans in our community who have served in our armed forces. 

Medals will be given for age groups 8-12, 13-17, 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-65, and 66 and over for the fastest 5k run; fastest 5k walk; fastest 1 mi run; and fastest 1 mi walk.

$35 registration fee. Ticket price includes an exclusive t-shirt while supplies last. T-shirts will be picked up on the day of the run/walk at the start location. Participants can arrive at 6:15 a.m. for check in and pick up. 

Can't make it to the race? You can still get some cool women veterans merch at vivalamocha.com. All proceeds except for $1 goes to our funding and future donations to local veteran organizations.

Where: Old Glory Memorial, 9550 Gateway N. Blvd, El Paso, TX 79904 
We will walk around the inside of Old Glory using an honor system due to City of El Paso safety requirements. 4x around is 1 mi. 12x around is 3 mi.
