Take on the Crooked Creek 5K Trail Challenge!

Camp Crooked Creek is home to one of the region's most challenging and let's not forget to mention most beautiful ultra trail running events The Crooked Creek Ultra Trail Weekend! This event features 50 miles, Marathon, and Half Marathon events with runners from all over the nation participating. Now you can join in on the fun by participating in the challenging 5K event on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 8:30am! Join us for another beautiful and challenging trail race at Camp Crooked Creek Scout Reservation right in the middle of bourbon country. If the wind is right, you'll smell the sweet aroma of mash from the major distillery located just a few miles away. This challenging course will meander through 1,000 acres of rolling hills covered with a hardwood forest of oak, hickory, and beech trees, spectacular natural views, and abundant wildlife. Runners will also enjoy the amazing 70-acre John Barr lake located right in the heart of the start-finish line and runner's village. This well-maintained and legendary trail is only available to the general public to run during the Crooked Creek event. Packet Pickup
Friday, December 1, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm at the Camp Crooked Creek Dining Hall Race Day Packet Pickup and Same Day Race Registrations will begin at 7am race morning.  
Awards
Top Overall Male and Female Finishers receive an award. All runners will receive a special Crooked Creek 5K Tree Ornament.
