2023 Amy's Ride Run Walk against Pancreatic Cancer:
This cycling, running, and walking event raises money to fund pancreatic cancer research, awareness, and advocacy efforts, with an emphasis on progressive research programs and initiatives. It is held in May each year. It is a rain-or-shine event and is designed to appeal to individuals and families ranging from casual and recreational walkers/runners/cyclists to avid runners and cyclists.
Your support, participation, and contributions fund pancreatic cancer research and treatment and assist in working towards finding a cure for this deadly disease. Due to all your generous support, we donated over $330,000 since 2015 from this event for pancreatic cancer research and treatment.
5K(ish) Family Fun Walk – This pet-friendly route is flat and mostly paved. There’s a slight shortcut from the 5K run route to avoid traffic. It shaves off about .6 mile making this 5K-“ish” for those who are tracking!
5K Timed Run – flat route, most of it along a paved park path (USATF Certified Course)
24 Mile Bike Ride – scenic, rolling rural route with one covered bridge
42 Mile Bike Ride – an extension of the 24 mile ride, but a little more challenging with an additional covered bridge, additional covered rest stop and two moderate climbs
Run prizes and medals for age categories and King & Queen of the Mountain for winners of the climb on the 42-mile bike ride.
Afterwards, stroll a few short blocks to take in the Upper Bucks County “Arts Alive!” festival in downtown historic Quakertown. This juried arts festival runs from 10-4 that day.
