ABOUT THE RACE
Trident Multisport was established in 2012 with the idea of bringing quality multisport events to our local area and has worked hand and hand with DQ Events and their staff for over the last 9 years. We have established some high quality, fun, safe events that include the Phoenix Sprint, the Survival of the Mills, and the Brookville Olympic/Sprint.

PACKET PICKUP / REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Registration is digital. There are no paper applications nor is cash accepted. Everyone must sign up online. Online registration closes at the start of the race. Please have the following items easily accesible to maintain the efficiency and speed of Packet Pickup:

Required: Proof of ID

Optional: Email Confirmation Bar Code per registrant (Printed or Digital) to scan

All events start and finish at Manahawkin Lake Park III, Manahawkin, NJ 08050

RACE SERIES 2023 - Pending Potential Updates
This event is part of the DQ Events Grand Prix and DQ Events Club Challenge.
You are scored for an overall placement, an age group placement, and for finishing the event. At the end of the series there will be prizes for free entries into 2024 and more!
To be scored in the Grand Prix all you have to do is place in the Overall, Age Group, or finish the race!
To be scored in the Club Challenge you need to select your club during registration and then place in Overall, Age Group, or finish the race!

ITINERARY
Saturday
4:30 - 6:30 pm - Check-in, Packet Pickup, and Race-Day Registration online only if available at race site

Sunday
5:45 - 6:50 am - Check-in, Packet Pickup, and Race-Day Registration online only if available (prices increased)
6:45 am - Pre-race briefing at Transition Area, after the briefing we will require ALL SWIMMERS to cross over the Swim timing mat before we can start the race
7:00 am - Races start (waves based on # of entrants)
9:30 am - Post-Race Party, Refreshments, & Awards Ceremony at ManaFirkin Brewing Co.

POST-RACE PARTY & AWARDS CEREMONY
9:30 am - There will be a party & awards ceremony at ManaFirkin Brewing Co. with drink specials. Food/ snacks will also be provided. The brewery is less than one mile from the Race Site. Manafirkin has a large outdoor area where the awards and food will be. Directions: ManaFirkin Brewing Co. 450 E Bay Ave, Manahawkin, NJ 08050 

DISTANCES
Stafford Township is located just minutes from beautiful Long Beach Island. Come down, race, and enjoy a nice weekend on the white sandy beaches of LBI before summer gets into full swing. The Stafford Race course is flat and fast. The swim is in a deep fresh water lake. The bike course will be fast and is freshly paved and smooth (when the bridge construction is complete, we hope to add it back to the bike course). The run takes you along the lake road through the quiet neighborhood of Deer Lake Park. The run is an out and back course so you can keep an eye on and track down your competition. You don't want to miss this event.

USAT INFORMATION
This is a USAT Sanctioned event. All participants must have an active USAT Membership that has not expired before the conclusion of the event and must follow all USAT rules and guidelines.

ALL athletes are required to show photo ID. NO ID, NO RACE, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Youth (17 and under) athletes without an ID must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a photo ID
Annual members are required to bring their membership card every time they compete in a USAT Sanctioned event.

Athletes may only pick up their own packets. Under no circumstances may an athlete pick up a packet for another person.
No drafting: a maximum of 15 seconds will be allowed to complete a pass through the draft zone of another athlete
Headphones are prohibited
No riding in transition at any time
Helmets/Chin straps must be worn securely fastened at all times while in possession of your bike. This means before, during, and after the event. This also means from the time you remove your bike from the rack at the start of the bike leg, until after you have placed your bike on the rack at the finish of the bike leg.
Verbal or physical abuse of others is not acceptable or tolerated. Participants shall refrain from unsportsmanlike conduct at all times while at the event and during competition, including the use of abusive language; violent acts; intentional misconduct; or any intimidating behavior directed toward, including but not limited to participants, officials, event staff, volunteers and spectators.
