_ 2023 Tri-owa Indoor Triathlon:
Join us for the Fourth Annual Tri-owa Indoor Triathlon. This year the event will take place on Sunday, February 5th at the University of Iowa Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. Tri-owa is a USAT sanctioned event and will count as a USAT Nationals qualifying race for collegiate participants. The race has two categories: collegiate and age group. Collegiate participants will swim 500-yards, bike 8-miles on an indoor stationary bike, and finish the race with a 2-mile treadmill run. Age-group participants will swim, bike, and run for ten minutes each with the furthest distance being the winner. There is also an option for age-groupers to double-dare and complete the swim-bike-run sequence twice for the ultimate workout!

Collegiate Race Format
500 yard pool swim, 8 mile stationary bike ride, 2 mile treadmill run
Transitions in between each event will last 10 minutes or until the last member of each wave is ready to start the next event.
Age Group Race Format
10 minute pool swim, 10 minute stationary bike ride, 10 minute treadmill run
Transitions in between each event will last 10 minutes or until the last member of each wave is ready to start the next event.
