About This Race
#RunPalmSprings! Make room for that extra piece of pie by completing the Palm Springs Wild Turkey Trot in iconic Palm Springs, California on Thanksgiving morning. This is a fast and flat certified course where world records are meant to be broken! Start and finish downtown, in perfect racing weather, on beautiful Palm Canyon.

All participants receive a long sleeved tech t-shirt, finisher medal, free finisher photo download and wild turkey hat! A portion of your entry supports the Mizell Center's Meals on Wheels Program, providing food for homebound seniors. This race is brought to you by the Palm Springs Marathon Runners with a reputation of awesome themed races supporting local charities! Complete the Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge and the Palm Springs WILD TURKEY TROT 5K and receive a BONUS medal!
Course
This 5K certified course is runner, walker, stroller and doggie friendly and starts and finishes in downtown Palm Springs on iconic Palm Canyon. Run through beautiful neighborhoods on this fast and flat course. 
Awards
Finisher medals for all! Age group medals awarded 3 deep in 5 year age categories through 90+. Trophies for top 3 finishers male, female, challenged athletes, teams, strollers and 4-legged friends. Special trophies for our TOP TEN FINISHERS!
BONUS medal for participants who finish BOTH our Palm Springs WILD TURKEY TROT 5K and the Palm Springs TRAM ROAD CHALLENGE.

Super cool long sleeved tech T-shirt featuring our favorite turkey, Lucky, included with registration for all 5K participants.
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up will be held on Tuesday, November 22nd and Wednesday, November 23rd FROM 11AM - 4PM in the Ruth Hardy Park parking lot at 700 Tamarisk Road, Palm Springs 92262. Look for the Palm Springs Marathon Runners pop-up tent for pick-up. Packet pick-up will also be available race morning, on site, at 200 S. Palm Canyon, Palm Springs, CA 92262 beginning at 6:30AM. Race begins at 8AM. Late registration will also be available at packet pick-up and race morning. Special EARLY BIRD packet pick-up on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, November 19, 20 and 21 from 11am - 4pm for anyone who registers prior to November 16th.

Off-site parking available in city parking structure located at 235 S.Indian Canyon Drive (intersection of Indian Canyon and Baristo) and on surrounding streets and businesses.
