_The 2022 Whistle Pig Adventure Race:
Come join us in Red Lodge, MT for the first Adventure Race in the state. Bike, Hike, Run, Climb, and Navigate as much as you can in 6 hours. This is not your typical race. This is an adventure race. It combines biking, map and compass navigation, trekking or running and an optional climb. Teams of 1-3+ with a family team option, will receive maps with pre-plotted checkpoints and will make their way through the course to find as many checkpoints as they can in 6 hours. Routes are not predetermined-participants will choose their own way from checkpoint to checkpoint. Teams do not have to secure all checkpoints to finish the race- teams will be scored by the number of checkpoints visited first and time second.
Proceeds will benefit the Beartooth Recreational Trails Association, a 501(c)3 with a mission to support non-mototrized travel in the Red Lodge area. The Whistle Pig is part of the Rocky Mountain Adventure Race Series.
Each person on the team will need to register for the race and pay the fee. We will connect you as a team later. Thanks!
