_The 2022 Splash and Dash By the Sea:
The 2nd annual Splash ‘N” Dash by the Sea is an Aquathlon competition consisting of a continuous, two-stage race involving swimming followed by running. The race is sanctioned by the USA Triathlon (USAT). The Event will take place on Sunday September 12 2021, at the JCC of the North Shore facility in Marblehead MA.
Splash ‘N” Dash by the Sea is intended to be a family-oriented event. Young athletes from 5 to 16 year of age of ALL fitness levels are welcome to participate in the event competing in categories organized by age groups.
- Ages 5 - 6; 25 yd swim; 500 m run
- Ages 7 - 8; 100 yd swim; 1 km run
- Ages 9 - 10; 100 yd swim; 1 km run
- Ages 11 - 12; 200 yd swim; 2 km run
- Ages 13 - 14; 250 yd swim; 2 km run
- Ages 15 - 16; 300 yds swim; 2 km run
Medals will be awarded to all athletes upon completion of the race once they come across the finish line. Trophies will be awarded to top 3 athletes both male and female in each division,

- Transition Close: 8:30 am
- Athletes Meeting: 8:40 am
- Start Time: 9:00 am
The race fee is $40.00. All athletes will need to be registered with USAT. If you are not a member you can purchase a year long membership when you register for $10. There will be NO registration the day of the event.
