JOIN US FOR OUR 8TH ANNUAL, FRANKENMüDDER!
The FrankenMüdder is a mock, boot camp-style run packed with lots of fun! This run, located in Frankenmuth, MI will have you and your friends laughing and sweating together. We will start you off with a quick tour of the Michigan Heroes Museum and then have you on your way to line up for Drill. After receiving your motivational instructions from our Drill Instructors, you will embark on an obstacle course - over barriers, through mud, through the river, and who knows what else this year's course will have to offer.
The FrankenMüdder benefits the Michigan Heroes Museum. Over the past 15 years, museums across the country, have found it increasingly difficult to remain open on admission funding alone. In addition to seeking grants and private donations, many museums have come up with creative events to help support their educational missions. The Michigan Heroes Museum uses the funds from the FrankenMüdder in order to offset costs associated with: daily operations of the museum, educational programs (K-12), ongoing research, special exhibits including our “Hero Next Door Program” (traveling displays to honor local hometown heroes), and preservation of our artifacts. The friends of the Michigan Heroes Museum and all of your FrankenMüdder volunteers would like to thank YOU the FrankenMüdder participants, as every penny of your entry fee goes to help us Honor, Respect, and Remember our state’s Heroes.
