We are back!!! Bigger and better than ever! THE WALK/5K Run for Parkinson's will be taking place on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022 in Farragut Tennessee. Due to the amazing interest and growth this past year, we've had to move our race. Starting location and race route will be posted soon, so please check back for more details. Once again all surrounding support groups are coming together in support of ONE event focused on Parkinson's Awareness! We will be UNITED for the cause! The goal of our 4th annual Walk-a-Thon and 5K Run is to help people better understand this progressive nervous system disorder and offer patients and their families a caring environment full of support. In 2015, PJ Parkinson's Support was created and held it's first walk-a-thon that fall. Now in its seventh year, the 5K run was added in 2019 and we are now working with other support groups in the East Tennessee area to increase awareness of Parkinson's Disease and what is being done locally to help those with Parkinson's and their families.
