_ The 2022 5K for Aidan J. Run/Walk for Heart-Safe Communities:

WE ARE BACK!!!  After having to forgo our last two 5K for Aidan J. events due to the pandemic, we are ECSTATIC to be able to host our flagship event in Kerr Park-- Aidan's childhood playground-- and on the Struble Trail in Downingtown.   We are so excited to bring so many kids, teens, families and community supporters together at long last.  This year-- the year that Aidan would be graduating high school-- is going to be an incredible and special event.   Early Registration is NOW OPEN and includes a FREE T-SHIRT with each registration.  Early registration ends at 11:59PM on April 30th.

• Regular registration begins May 1st.  T-shirts will be available for purchase with registrations from May 1st through June 1st. 
• T-shirts will not be available for purchase with registration after June 1st.  Some T-shirts may be available on race day, but not guaranteed.
• Race day registration prices are each an additional $5 per participant.

• Adult (21+) = $30
• Teen (13-20) = $20
• Kids (2-12) = $15

• 8:00 am     Check-in and Race Day Registration opens
• 8:55 am     Opening Ceremony
• 9:15 am     5K start
• 9:20 am     1 Mile Family Walk starts
• 10:15 am   Kids Races begin (ages 2-12)
• 10:45 am   Closing Ceremonies

• You will not see an option to register your kid(s) for the Kids Races until you register yourself for either the 5K Run or the 1 Mile Walk.  Once your registration information is entered, you will then be able to "Add Registrant", and a check-box menu will allow you to select the event(s) that your child(ren) would like to participate in.  Each child's registration fee is $10, regardless whether they participate in the 5K, the Walk, the Kids Races, or any two of these events.
