_ The 2022 Alpha Warrior Team Tough Challenge:

The Challenge San Antonio Sports invites area high school teams to connect in the ultimate test of teamwork and toughness designed to pit students against each other in a challenging and fun-filled obstacle course along with several fitness challenges!     The Teams Forty (40) team spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis to San Antonio area high schools. Teams will have the option to compete in one of our three (3) high school divisions. All divisions will require a total of eight (8) high school students who will be working together as a team to complete the dynamic Alpha Warrior Obstacle Course along with several other fitness challenges with our military partners.*  See below for team division options.  *Each team will be allowed to recruit and register two alternate students in the circumstance of a student dropping out from the 8 student roster   The Walkthrough Training – Friday, May 13 or Saturday, May 14 (REQUIRED)* Each team will receive access to Alpha Warrior at home training videos to make sure the participants are physically prepared to run the course. In addition, teams will have the opportunity on May 13 or May 14 to attend and complete one practice session at the obstacle course.   *90-minute walkthrough will be scheduled during registration at a first-come, first-serve basis during time windows below:  Friday, May 13th - 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 14th - 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Training and walkthroughs are now required for all teams and participants this year. This is to give teams a better perspective of the challenging obstacle course prior to the event day while also mitigating safety concerns with the students being able to see and try the course. We will also use this opportunity for teams to meet their assigned Military Captain as well.    Team Captains are responsible for coordinating and communicating with students on their team that they attend the selected training day and timeslot.   DUE TO LIMITED AVAILABILITY AT THE VENUE, THERE ARE NO OTHER DATES OR TIMES AVAILABLE FOR A MAKEUP AND TIMESLOTS ARE LIMITED AT EACH TIME AND AVAILABLE AT A FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS.     Divisions Female: 8 female students on a team competing against other female teams Male: 8 male students on a team competing against other male teams Co-Ed: 4 male students & 4 female students competing against other co-ed teams* *Co-ed division teams must have equal number (4) of both males and females on team   Schedule FEMALE DIVISION: May 21, Time TBD (AWARDS CEREMONY TIME TBD) MALE DIVISION: May 21, Time TBD (AWARDS CEREMONY TIME TBD) CO-ED DIVISION: May 21, Time TBD (AWARDS CEREMONY TIME TBD)
