2022 Give it a Tri Sprint Triathlon:
Join us in beautiful eastern Connecticut for a community-supported sprint triathlon consisting of a .5 mile swim, 12.5 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run. Moosup Pond is a lovely, small lake with clear, clean water and a wide sandy beach, great for entry and exit. The bike loop is closed to traffic and is a scenic ride through the rural countryside of Plainfield and Killingly with 4 moderate but short hills. The run course is an out-and-back route which takes you most of the way around the lake through this quaint waterfront community.
This event is open to anyone age 13 and older. Participants can compete individually or form a relay team of 2 or 3 people. Family teams are welcome and encouraged! The event will sell out at 200 participants, so registering early is recommended.
