_The RVA Splash & Dash Series (Avalon Qualifier):

The RVA Splash and Dash Series is a race series held in partnership with USA Triathlon. The mission is to provide kids a safe, fun introduction to multisport. The 2022 series will feature qualifying races at a variety of pools every weekend from May 15 to July 10 with a large Grand Finale Race on July 16. All Splash & Dash races includes a 100 yd/m swim followed by a 1 mile run.

What’s Splash & Dash?

About Splash & Dash – Splash & Dash is a USA Triathlon national series that provides a fun, safe introduction to multisport.  All ages 17 and under encouraged to participate.

The Series – The RVA Splash & Dash Series is a series of races of the same swim-run distance at varying locations. The 2022 series will feature qualifying races at a variety of pools every weekend from May 15 to July 10 with a large Grand Finale race on July 16.  To get a qualifying event at your pool, contact us.

A Great Cause – These events help fund free fitness programs which teach core life skills to children in low-opportunity neighborhoods.

Each of the following Splash & Dash events will consist of a 100 y/m  swim followed by a 1 mile run on a safe, fun course:

• Sat, May 28 – Randolph Qualifier, 10am (1507 Grayland Ave)
• Sat, Jun 4 – Magnolia Green Qualifier, 8am (7001 Awesome Dr)
• Sat, Jun 11 – Avalon Qualifier, 8am (510 Heathfield Rd) – View Course
• Sat, Jun 18 – Hadad’s Lake Qualifier, 8am (7900 Osborne Tnpk) 
• Sat, Jun 25 – Burkwood Qualifier, 8am (9120 Burkwood Club Dr) 
• Sun, Jul 3 – Hungary Creek Qualifier, 8am (9194 Hungary Rd)
• Sat, Jul 16 – Hallsley Grand Finale, 7:30am (3900 Brightwalton Rd)
