_ The 2022 Run For The Horses 5K:
A picturesque 5K on a country road near Lake Wesserunsett to benefit Double B horse rescue in central Maine. Double B Equine Rescue’s sole purpose is to save horses who have been neglected, starved or beaten. They rehabilitate them for as long as it takes to get them healthy and find a forever home.
T-shirts to the first 150 entrants.
Any participant who raises at least $50 on behalf of Double B by 8/31 will have their entry fee refunded.
Course Information:
The course is downhill in the beginning , flat for most of the course with a hill at the end on a country road next to a lake. It is a certified 5K.
Directions:
The race starts and finishes at Hight Chrysler Dodge , 507 Lakewood Road in Madison, Maine. It starts on the corner of Route 201 north and Schoolhouse road in Madison, Maine.
