2009 Janet Clarkson Memorial Triathlon:

  • Sprint Triathlon
  • Swim.Bike,Run.
  • Chip timing

    • Course Information:

  • Swim course is 1000 meters. Swimmers will launch in a wave from the boat ramp, swim out to the large white balloon that is 500 Meters off shore then back.
  • Picket boats will line the course and life guards are on hand.
  • The Bike portion is 13.1 miles over abandoned logging roads. A Mountain bike is recommended.
  • There will be food and water stations along the route.
  • The transition to the run portion is in front of the general store at the Resort.
  • The run portion is 4.2 Miles. Again on old logging roads.

    • Directions:

  • From West yellowstone, north on us Hwy 191/287 to 3 mile marker, left turn onto Madison Arm Road.
  • 5.5 miles NW to Madison Arm Resort.
