_ The 2022 Block Island Shad Bloom 10K Trail Run:
This spring race (an island favorite) takes runners over a scenic 10K course with breathtaking views of beautiful Block Island. The race includes a little bit of everything: dirt roads with stone walls and rolling pastures, a winding track overlooking the Atlantic, and at mile 4 racers meet "the wall", a steep, double tiered, narrow climb. Every mile is different. This race has a loyal following.
If the ferry is cancelled race day, then the race will be postponed until Sunday May 15th.

The Race begins at 1:00pm.
The Start and Finish will be at The Block Island School
Certain Covid restrictions may be in place. All participants will be required to follow any Covid restrictions.
Event details and schedule
packet pickup/ day of registration will be at the Block Island School starting at 9 a.m. the day of the race
Bus transportation will meet the 9 a.m point judith ferry (arrives on Block Island 10 .am.)
an informational e-mail including maps will be sent the week before the race to the email the runner registered with.
