_The 2022 KCAZ 5K Fundraiser:

Thank you for participating in our Annual Kids’ Chance 5k.  Since Covid 19 has impacted our fundraising events, and we had to cancel them in 2020. We are happy to announce that we will be having a Hybrid 5K event this year. So if you are comfortable to be at the live event we welcome you (maintaining CDC guidelines), if you prefer you can do the 5k on your time and comfort level. This is how it works!

Participants will have the option to participate virtually. What is virtual racing? Just run or walk on your own anytime between the time you register through March 19th, 2022. Then post your time (yes, it’s on the honor system). We will post your time in the official results and you will receive your T-shirt and finisher’s medal by mail. Now there is no need to be in Phoenix area to participate in our 5K!

Participate anywhere you want to. You can walk/run indoors, on a treadmill or outdoors. Your Time, Your Pace. Just check in after and post your time. Don't forget to post pictures of yourself/group taking the challenge to the benefit KCAZ Mission.

The Kids' Chance 5K is back for our 17th Annual event!  Kids’ Chance of Arizona, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, provides college scholarships for children with parents who have been killed or catastrophically injured on the job. Help change the life of a young adult who would not be able to fulfill their dream of an education without YOU!

This fun event welcomes competitive runners as well as casual joggers/walkers, dogs, families including strollers and virtual participants. Come out for a beautiful morning at the Arizona Falls and support Kids' Chance of Arizona!

What:

A 5k fun run/walk hosted at Arizona Falls. The race will be an out and back course along the canal and will include lite refreshments at the finish line.
