_ The 2022 Storm the Fort Triathlon:

Storm the Fort 1/3  (Half Storm) - The Race for the Cannon enters its 11th year, with the premier event now a 1/3 iron distance race. A one mile wave start triangular swim course, followed by a rural rolling 39 mile bike ride (no major climbs) with one bottle exchange. The run course will be an 8.8 mile course consisting of two loops on the Kingston greenway, with the first lap running past famous Fort Southwest Point, the second lap finishing in The Fort. The run course will include fully stocked aid stations ~ every mile. Soft cotton shirts, race logo DeFeet socks, and finisher medals to all participants, miniature cannon awards to age groups, and the coveted genuine cannonball awards to overall male and female winners. USAT sanctioned event, expected 1/3 option participation—100.

Storm the Fort Sprint (Sprint Storm) - For the 8th year, Storm the Fort again offers a sprint option. Wave start point to point 500 meter swim, fairly flat (by East TN standards) 17 mile bike course, and an out and back “around the Fort” 4 mile run on the Kingston greenway. Soft cotton shirts, race logo DeFeet socks, along with the popular miniature cannon awards, highlight the swag. USAT sanctioned, expected sprint option participation—130

Packets may also be picked up on race morning at 58 Landing (transition area/swim start), HWY 58 South, Kingston, starting at 6am.
