2022 Tulsa Area Triathletes Kids Triathlon:
Tulsa Triathlon provides a distance challenge for all athletes. Whether you are 5 or 95 you will enjoy the beautiful scenery at Birch Lake near Barnsdall, Oklahoma as you experience the multi-sport lifestyle like no other event.
Events include Sprint Triathlon (500 meter open water swim, 12 mile road bike, 5K road run), International/Olympic Triathlon (1500 meter open water swim, 40K road bike, 10K road run), Tulsa Half (1.2 mile open water swim, 56 mile road bike, 13.1 mile road run). There are two Aquabike distances (1500M/40K and 1.2 mile/56 mile) along with a kids triathlon for ages 5 to 12.
Tulsa Area Triathletes is excited to offer the Kid's Triathlon this year at Birch Lake.
This year the Kid's Tri will be held on Saturday June 25th after the Adult Sprint Tri Distance. The event will be held at Twin Cove at Birch Lake in Barnsdall. Transition will open around 10:15 and close at 10:30am for the pre-race meeting. Ages 5-8 will race first followed by the 9-12 yr olds.
This is a non-chipped timed event. Race shirts will be guaranteed to all participants who register by June 1st. Finisher medals will be given to all finishers. No age group awards.
Packet pick-up for the kids event will be at RunnersWorld Tulsa , 3920 S. Peoria on June 25th or before the Kid's Triathlon starting at 10am down by transition.
