_ The 2022 Sharon Sprint Triathlon:
The Sharon Sprint Triathlon offers a challenging course yet small town charm making this an ideal event for both the experienced triathlete and the first timer. We encourage team and youth particpation in our event. We look forward to seeing all of our returning participants and newbies alike!
We will be at the Sharon Town Beach at 6:30am the day of the event for packet pick up. Parking on the road is advisable. Those in the lot must stay parked until the event is finished. Awards: male/female overall; m/f age groups 1st-3rd; teams, m/f/mixed/youth.
Course Information:
• The half mile swim on Mudge Pond.
• The bike cousre is a 12.1 mile loop; from the Sharon town Beach north on Mudge Pond Rd., east on rt112, south on rt41, west on west
• The run is a 4.1 mile loopl north on Mudge Pond Rd. from beach, to Long Pond Rd., to Valley Rd, to Mudge Town Rd. back to Mudge Pond Rd. and the beach.
Directions:
Sharon town beach is located at the north end of Mudge Pond Road.
The facility offers a changing pavilion, picnic tables, a playground, and a sand beach which is raked daily during the summer season (Memorial Day to Labor Day).
