_The 2022 The Winter Warriors Race Series:

About This Activity
This event is setup and organized for runners who like to train and race outside during the tough winter months. If you are intimidated by ice, snow, wind or mud this race is not for you.

All races will begin at the same time. All runners will start within the city limits making their way out onto the beautiful Isabella county roads. This is the 15th year the event has been hosted.  All events will feature finisher medals in 2022.  Runners will receive also awards based on each races theme.

Race Location:
Race HQ Is at O'Kellys Sports Bar, 2000 S. Mission, Mt. Pleasant, MI. 
In 2022 Race Start/Finish and parking for the race will be at McLaren Fitness, 2600 Three Leaves Dr, Mt. Pleasant, MI.
The actual Start/Finish will be on the paved path parallel to Denison Dr which is a short walk from McLaren Fitness.
If possible please plan to carpool from Okellys to McLaren Fitness as there is only about 120 spots there.
Please also plan on using the restrooms at Okellys as there are limited options at McLaren Fitness.

Packet Pickup Information
Saturday Pick Up & Late Registration at Okellys will be 4pm to 7pm.
Sunday Pick Up & Late Registration at Okellys will be from 7am to 8:40am.  With the Start being at a different location you must Pick Up by 8:40am.

2022 Winter Warrior Race Dates:
Snowmans event: Sunday, January 16th, 2022
IceCube event: Sunday, February 20th, 2022
MudDog event: Sunday, March 13th, 2022 

Race Entry Gift:
Snowmans event: Snowman race theme hat and race themed pint glass
IceCube event: IceCube race theme gloves and race themed pint glass
MudDog event: MudDog race theme hoodie and race themed pint glass

Post Race Food: 
Beverage of choice or $5 off meal @ O'Kellys Sports Bar & Grille

Half Marathon/10K/5k Finisher swag:
ALL RACE finishers will receive a race themed finisher medals!!!  Each race will be a different medal.  Finish and collect all 3 to show everyone that you are an Ultimate Winter Warrior!!!  The 3 medals will combine via magnets to form 1 big series medal!  All races will receive the same medal so if you chose different events at each race (such as mountain climb option) the medals will still fit together to show you are an ultimate winter warrior!

Age Group Awards:
Top 3 in each age group of each distance will receive awards.

16&Under 17-22 23-28 29-34 35-40 41-46 47-52 53-58 59-64 65&Up

Start Time:
All races start at 9:00 am

Awards Ceremony:
There will not be announced awards.  Results will be posted live at chttiming.com & awards will be available at Okellys starting at 10am.

Finish Line/Timing:
The finish line will remain open until 12:00 PM.  After 3 hours the course and finish line will be closed.  If you feel that you can't complete your half in 3 hours (15 min. pace) then please make sure to notify a race official before starting and come prepared with a way of getting your own time.  Times over 3 hours can be added to the results by emailing them to the race director.
