_ The 2nd annual 4 Hour Freeze:

Join us at the 2nd annual 4 Hr Freeze & 5k on January 16th in beautiful downtown Indianapolis at The Amp Indy. New this year we will have indoor heated space for basecamp & indoor/heated restrooms! The race offers a straight up 5k, or a true challenge-the 4 Hr Freeze! You race for up to 4 hours and see how many miles you can knock out. Can you finish a 10k, 15k, Half Marathon, Full Marathon, or maybe even chase down a 50k finish line? This race is designed to provide a broad challenge to all athletes kicking off the new year. If you want some early season bragging rights join us at the 4hr Freeze & 5k. This event is offered both live, and virtually. We look forward to seeing you all at the starting line for the 2022 4 Hr Freeze. 

4 Hr Freeze Course Breakdown:
The 4hr race will offer a short 1.1 mile course, and a long 2 mile course. There will be a timing mat at the .55 mile mark/turn around on the short loop to assure folks go all the way to the turn around. We will also have a check mat on the south end of the 2 mile course that will confirm the long course was ran crediting you with the appropriate distance. We will only score distance ran for completed laps within the 4hrs. Below is a breakdown showing what would need to be ran/walked for different distance goals. 5k: 1 Long Loop, & 1 Short Loop 10k: 2 Long Loops, & 1 Short Loop / 15k: 3 Long Loops, & 3 Short Loops  / 13.1: 6 Long Loops, and 1 Short Loop / 26.2: 12 Long Loops, &  2 Short Loops / 50k: 15 Long Loops, and 1 Short Loop
