_ The 2021 Bolt Drop 24:

The Bolt Drop 24 is a 24-hour virtual fundraising run for Rock CF on New Year's Eve/Day!

No, you don't have to run for 24 hours straight. Instead, you will run 4 miles every 4 hours, totaling up to 24 miles in 24 hours. I know some of you can bust 24 miles out in one go but we want everyone to participate in a 24 hour period!

You can run outside, inside on a treadmill, or a mixture of both. Be sure to post screenshots of your watch or phone when you are all done on our Strava Run Club page below! If posting on IG or anywhere else, use the hashtags #BoltDrop24 & #letsrockcf then be sure to tag us @letsrockcf!

A fundraising page can be created in the "Fundraising Tab" on the top navigation bar underneath "More"!

You can start anytime you'd like and have your own 4 hour schedule, but here is a starting point: Starting with 4 miles on December 31st at 12pm, and then running at 4pm, 8pm, 12am, 4am, then finishing up at 8am! Like we said before, you can start whenever works best for you, even if that means getting the challenge rolling on New Year's Day, we'll leave things opened up for you.

Registration to enter into the fundraiser is just $10 for no shirt/just fundraising or $35 for fundraising + shirt. We split it up into two categories so we can get the shirts ordered sooner rather than later! Either option allows you to join and create your own fundraising page to earn sweet gear! Our fundraising will be hosted right here on RunSignUp! After you register, head up to the fundraising tab to get your page started to share on socials.

If you are interested in getting a shirt, please register under the $35 "Shirt" category. We need this number to estimate the number of shirts needed to order. We cannot guarantee shirt accommodations to anyone who registers with the "No Shirt" category. Also, due to the high demand for products and supply chain backups around the globe, we are going to be sending the shirts AFTER the event. We appreciate your patience, support, and understanding.

If you're not up for the 24-mile challenge, consider running 2 miles every 4 hours instead. Not up for the running? Hammer away on the bike or pop up for a few nice walks! Whatever gets you up and moving. We encourage you to follow all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of everyone who chooses to participate; stay safe, and have some fun! All proceeds for the event go towards benefitting the Rock CF Foundation and our various programs, which we've got BIG plans for in 2022!
