_ The 2022 Toad Suck Daze 10k/5k Run:

We are so excited to announce that we will be having a 2022 Toad Suck Daze Race.  This will be the 40th anniversary of the Toad Suck Daze Race for the Kiwanis Club of Conway.  We would also like to thank our presenting sponsor for this years race, Conway Regional Health Systems!!! We are also happy to announce that this years race has been designated as a Championship Grand Prix Race by the RRCA!!! Tad Pole Update: We have changed this event's day and location!  April 29th at 5:45 pm - 924 Front St (downtown Conway within toad suck daze festival).  This will be a short race (2 blocks) and is for kids ages 4-8 years old.  We are excited to see kids race down to toad suck square.  Prizes and t shirts available! The Toad Suck 10K was started by the Conway Kiwanis Club in 1982 and run in conjunction with the Toad Suck Daze Festival. In 1984, First National Bank (now Regions) began a race in memory of a fellow employee, Randy Baker, who died of cancer. The Randy Baker 8K was conducted for two years, with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society. In 1986, the Conway Kiwanis Club approached Regions Bank, and the two races were combined.  The annual Toad Suck Daze Run is held in memory of Randy Baker, with proceeds benefiting non-profit agencies supporting children in the Faulkner County community.  The 2022 recipients include:  Children's Advocacy Alliance, Community Connections, Community Service Inc, Compass Academy, HAVEN, Main Stage Education Series at Reynolds Performance Hall, Conway Area Youth Leadership Institute, and Milestone Services Inc. Today, the Run includes both a 10K and a 5K Run/Walk, a Wheelchair event, a Tadpole Trot for children aged 4-8. Since its inception, the run has contributed over $400,000 to local non-profits, and the Run strives to increase its contributions to the Faulkner County community each year.
