Purpose11) To bring the community together, 2) To promote endurance sports (such as cycling, running, ect.), 3) To raise awareness of injured troops who are in need of operations.What is It?2The Tour de Effingham is three things: 1) It is a fundraiser that helps support the Wounded Warriors Foundation, 2) It is a thirty-nine mile bicycle ride around the major parts of Effingham County. There is no limit to the amount to cyclist in the cycling event, 3) It is a thirty-nine mile relay around the major parts of Effingham County. Each athlete will run one mile of the relay. The athletes will be broken down into one or more relay teams, depending on the number of athletes participating.How You Can Help31) Be a runner in the relay, 2) Be a cyclist in the event, 3) Donate money and time to the cause, 4) Help sponsor the event, 5) Spread the wordSpread the Word!!!4Word of Mouth, Facebook, Email, Text, ect.T-shirts5The first two hundred (200) athletes to register, will receive a free long sleeve t-shirt, with the Tour de Effingham logo on the front and sponsors/businesses on the back.Sponsorship6If you would like to be a sponsor, send us an email at ([email protected]) or give us a call at (912)531-8497.Food7Will be providedRoute8http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/56319288/
