_ The 2021 Mountains to Desert Ride:
Join other cyclists for a spectacular Colorado road ride! Start in the beautiful mountains of Telluride, cycle through an incredible historic desert landscape and finish at CampV, an inspiring, boutique camp: https://www.campv.com/.
In an effort to include cyclists of all ages & abilities, we will offer distances ranging from 22-100 miles and are working to incorporate a kids-specific trail event starting and ending from CampV. Due to its popularity in 2020, we will again offer the September challenges: ride 50 (kids only), 100 or 500 miles anytime, anywhere on any bike during the month.
Mountains to Desert is the single fundraiser each year for the Just For Kids Foundation, which provides essential scholarships, operating grants, program support, capital & start-up funding, and new equipment to deserving youth & youth organizations within the San Miguel Watershed including the towns of Norwood, Nucla, Naturita, Paradox, Telluride and all points in between. We are thrilled to be finishing in one of our beneficiary communities this year!
