_ The 2021 Grand Rapids Triathlon:
We are the largest independent triathlon in Michigan and proud host of five USAT National Championships over the course of our ten-year history.
While our event brings in some of the best athletes from across the country, we have also been named one of the Top 5 Best Triathlons for Beginners in the country according to Triathlon Business International. This triathlon event is a chance for athletes of all skill levels to compete on a scenic riverside course, perfect for the novice through the seasoned triathlete.
Course Information:
The Grand Rapids Triathlon’s flat, fast course is ideal for the new and experienced triathlete alike. Enjoy a beautiful swim in the lake-like Thornapple River, ride the flat country-road bike course then run our the scenic, shaded run course with loads of local support.
Directions:
Park in the heart of downtown Ada and bike/walk to the transition area on Buttrick Ave. across from the Ada Boat Launch. Or use our convenient athlete drop-off/shuttle that will bring you to the Covered Bridge.
