A NO FRILLS ultra-running event for those of you that just LOVE to run!
The Lower Lake in Cassadaga hosts a perfectly distanced 5K loop and this event will have you run one - ten loops depending on what you feel that day. NO CUT-OFF TIMES! You keep your own times and distance and report back.
When we say NO FRILLS, we mean it! No medals, no t-shirts. You provide your own support. Just the fun of getting out there and being able to say you did it. The only amenity supplied will be a pancake breakfast afterwards for all participants. Finishers will get bragging rights and their times published.
A warming station will be provided with coffee and hot cocoa. One aid station on the course stocked with water, Hammer Nutrition Heed and Gels.
Held in conjunction with the Cassadaga Winter Festival activities.
There will be a $10 entrance fee, ALL of which will be donated to the Cassadaga Volunteer Fire Department & Fire Police.
Ice-Scream Dip
Polar plunge at Cassadaga Beach. $20 entry fee with proceeds going to the Cassadaga Library and Cassadaga Fire Department. Registration starts at 8am. Take bets that you will or won't go in. Prize for best scream! Sponsored by The Red House.
