The Oak Brook Park District is proud to host the "Tackle the Tri". Don't miss this triathlon for ages 12+ and all skill levels.
This event is different than your ordinary triathlon. No swimming!
Ready for the BIG game? Come tailgate with us and get in a great workout prior to the game!
This Triathlon features:
2000 Meter Row (On Concept 2 Rower)
2.5 miles on Assault AirBike
1.25 miles Running/Walking (on Treadmill)
Each participant will be assigned a heat based on his or her gender and age, and confirmations will be sent out the week before the event. Heats start every 30 minutes, beginning at 6:00 am, with 7 participants per heat.
All participants must start at the times indicated in their confirmation email.
NO EXCEPTIONS!
Age groups are: 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and older.
Appropriate attire, including athletic shoes, are required for all events
All registrants will receive a t-shirt
