_ The 2020 Agri-Fit Challenge 5K:

This is the Gratiot Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Agricultural obstacle course 5K Run/Walk!  Our course in 2019 was so exciting we can't wait to bring back some favorites from that race plus tweaking some obstacles & where they're placed for this year's race! We'll keep you on your toes as the planning continues! Some examples Include: Bale Out (climb over round bales), Mud crawl, Back Scratcher (under barbed wire), Tractor Pull (pulling tractor tires), Traction Torture (through a loaded semi), Ladder Up (climbing over pod boxes), Pack Mule (carrying), Pipe Dream (crawling through drainage tube) and so much more!

COVID Info: The safety of our participants is very important to us, and like many races, we are taking measures to make sure everyone is safe at the event. In the event that the race is not able to be completed in-person due to the COVID-19 emergency the race will be changed to a virtual race. The Race Director will provide instructions on how to time and submit your time.

Also, runners will be prohibited from participating in person during the event if they show any signs of potential COVID-19 infection as determined by the Race Director utilizing information provided by the Mid-Michigan District Health Department before the race (see here for details: https://www.mmdhd.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/COVID-19-Workplace-Health-Screening.pdf). Depending on the state of the COVID-19 restrictions, the race director may require all participants to take a simple self assessment to help determine eligibility (See here for an example: https://www.mmdhd.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/COVID-19-Workplace-Health-Screening.pdf).

The race director reserves the right to implement further actions to ensure everyone's safety as needed at the time of the event.
