_ The 2021 Sportspectrum Scavenger Hunt:

First Ever Sportspectrum Scavenger Hunt Race

Saturday, August 22nd 2020

Start time: 10:00 a.m.

Start location: Sportspectrum (behind the building) 6970 Fern Avenue

Teams of 4 – coed, all male or all female

Cost - $20 per member

Perks for entering: cool t-shirt, burgers and beverages when your team gets back to Sportspectrum. Cool prizes for the top 2 teams and door prize drawings for other goodies.

Object of the race: To get to 6 different locations, collect your team flag take a picture of the location and back to Sportspectrum the quickest. At the start of the race we will give each team an envelope with clues to the 6 different locations you need to go to. Once your team figures out the locations it's up to you all to come up with the shortest routes to get to each location and back to Sportspectrum the quickest.

At each location you will find a flag with your team number on it, collect your flag take a picture of the location with all four team members in the picture and then take off to the next location. Don't forget to take your team flag with you. You must have all six flags with you at the finish line.

Once you get to the finish line we will verify that you have all 6 of your team flags and pictures of the correct locations. Miss a flag or forgot to take the picture? Go back out and try again...if you want, or just hang out and have a cold one and wait for the other teams to show up. The top 2 teams will win something cool. We will also have drawings for other cool things so stick around you might win something even if your team is not one of the fastest.

Team members must stay together for the entire race. Each picture must have the location along with all four members of the team in the picture.

Things needed for the race:

     Cell phone - so you can take your team pictures

     Water or some sort of hydration - there are no water stops.

     Sense of direction
