_ The 2020 World Trade Center Stair Climb:
1,980 steps in the Towers that fell on 9/11. That's 17 times up & down the 120 steps in the Lake Co. Fairgrounds Grandstand. In practice, it took just over an hour at a causal pace. You will be given 17 tokens, dropping off 1 after each lap until all of your tokens are gone. Are you up for the challenge?
Each participant will be given the name of one of the 412 emergency workers (including 343 firefighters) who lost their lives on that day. This is a non timed event with certificates given to all who successfully complete the challenge.
A smaller climb of 354 steps (the number of steps in the Statue of Liberty) is also available. Event supports local First Responders in Crown Point.
Cost thru Sept. 9th: $20 all ages. Shirts extra $15 thru Sept. 6th. After Sept. 9th: $30 all ages.

Sign in/packet pickup starts at 5:15 pm before the event.
