_ The 2020 Swim With Nick 1 Mile Ocean Swim:

We are excited to announce the rescheduled date for the inaugural Swim With Nick at Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park on Sunday October 18, 2020. We will keep up to date with guidelines and recommendations from the CDC as to the format and event schedule.  As the event date draws nears we will post on the website and communicate via email regarding the format and event schedule.  We appreciate your support and understanding during this unique time.  We look forward to seeing you on October 18, 2020 for the Inaugural Swim With Nick.

Nicholas Dworet was taken from us on February 14, 2018 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.  He was a beautiful young man survived by his loving family, mother Annika, father Mitch, brother Alex, and his girlfriend Daria.  He was loved by everyone who knew him.

Nick loved to swim!  He stated swimming when he was just seven years old.  Nick flourished his last few years in high school and became an amazing student athlete earning a swimming scholarship to the University of Indianapolis!

Nick was always helping his friends and teammates be the best they could be.  In his memory we are holding a swim clinic for all middle and high school swimmers who want to improve with hard work and dedication!  This is the inaugural 1 mile ocean Swim With Nick event!  Open to all levels of swimmers!  Everyone is welcome to join in for the day to remember Nick and come together as one swim family.

All participants will receive a swim bib with timing chip, custom finisher medal, event shirt, and event goodie bag.
