The pandemic has substantially impacted young businesses. For the past few years, Jan Schmidt has been working to start her new business, Blue Bike Health and Fitness. For many, many, many years, Jan has volunteered for countless hours to support the triathlon and sporting community. Now is the time to volunteer to help support Jan in her new business. You can do so by participating in the Blue Bike Fitness Fundraiser Scavenger Run/Walk/Hunt at 7:00pm on Friday, June 19, 2020.
Event details and schedule
Dash through the Red Bridge Shopping Center and the surrounding neighborhoods on a scavenger hunt that will test your mind and improve your fitness. Strategize your route, find clues, and decipher the clues, all on foot.
The object is to find as many hidden clues as possible in one hour or less and then be the first one to unscramble them to reveal a message. No age limits or age restrictions-all ages are welcome. You do not need to find all the clues to win. The hunt is over when the first message is unscrambled.
This is a charity event for the benefit of the Blue Bike Health and Fitness and the goal is to have 100% of the proceeds go toward directly to Blue Bike. No t-shirts, no medals, but rather an exchange of gratitude and a prize to the first lucky hunter to unscramble the message.
