  • This Triathlon, named after Janet Clarkson, is designed to provide a yearly scholarship for the West Yellowstone High School, and funds for the American Cancer Society.
  • Course Information:

  • Swimmers will start from the shore of the Madison Arm Resort in waves of 50. No less than 6 boats with flags and spotters will picket the swim course to wave off approaching boats, and PWCs, as well as pick swimmers from the water if needed.
  • The bicycle portion of the race will start at Madison Arm Resort and proceed SE on FSR 1731 to the junction of FSR 1731 and FSR 1730. There they will proceed NW to the Junction of FSR 1730,FSR 6699, and FSR 291. then SE on FS6699 to the junction of FS 1731 and back to the resort. Total of 13.3 miles

  • [br]The run portion of the Triathlon starts at the resort proceeds NW on FS 291 to the junction of FS 6699 then North on FSR 6699 to the Junction of FSR 1731, where they turn south to the Y then northeast to the Resort. This is 5.2 Miles. The event will start at 10:00 A.M. and should be completed by 1:00 PM. Participant will be placed in age categories per the USA Triathlon Requirements.

  • From West Yellowstone 3.5 Miles North on Hwy. 191/287, then 5.5 miles NW on Forest Service Road # 291. On the South Shore of the Madison Arm of Hebgen Lake
