"Race Day Events has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and following recommendations from Wisconsin State Department of Public Health and the Badger Bounce Back plan as they work with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to prevent the spread of this virus. The safety and well-being of our participants, staff, and volunteers is always of utmost importance and therefore we have decided to postpone the Wisconsin Triterium Triathlon to August 8th."
COVID-19 Update: We are currently monitoring the COVID-19 situation and adhering to guidelines set by the Wisconsin Department of Public Health and CDC. At this time we are still proceeding with planning for this event. Should this event be cancelled due to the pandemic, your options will include: defer to 2021, transfer to another 2020 triathlon, or donate your entry fee.

TRIATHLON RACE DISTANCES:
SPRINT: 1/4-MILE SWIM | 11-MILE BIKE | 5K RUN
OLYMPIC: 1.5K SWIM | 22-MILE BIKE | 10K RUN
SWIM: The swim will be held in the Fireman’s Park Quarry. There is an experienced water safety team on the swim course in the event of anyone needing assistance. The sprint (1/4) will be ONE counterclockwise loop. The Olympic (1500 M) will be THREE counterclockwise loops after each loop you will exit the water and cross a verification-timing mat.
BIKE: The bike course is a scenic journey through the county roads south of Verona. Featuring rolling hills, the course is challenging yet enjoyable for all skill levels. The sprint distance is 11 miles with the Olympic distance at 22 miles that included a double out and back portion. Helmets ARE required and must be fastened before leaving the transition area. Please stay to the right so other riders can pass you safely.
RUN: Exploring the area around Fireman’s Park, this course offers exceptional spectator support due to the out and backs along with the loops. The sprint being ONE counter clockwise loop around the neighborhood surrounding Fireman’s Park with an out and back on the trail. The Olympic will do the whole course TWICE!
