We are currently working with the race facility, timing company and police department to find another race date.  If we can find a date, we will reschedule.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

With North Park ER next to IHL, ambulance traffic WILL take priority and racers in the area will be stopped/expected to stop to allow for safe transport of patients. Failing to comply will result in a DQ and future races voided.

2020 Institute Triathlon

Short Description:   This sprint triathlon will feature a pool swim; mostly flat out leg of the bike and return rolling hills; and a flat out and back run.  It is a great race for both beginners and experienced triathletes looking for a fun, fast race.  Swim: 200m   Bike: 13 miles   Run: 3.1 miles

Host Hotel for 2020 Institute Triathlon is the Hilton Garden Inn of Longview.  Just a few steps away from transition!  905 East Hawkins Parkway.  903-212-3000.

The race will benefit Beds of Hope, a non-profit volunteer organization that builds beds for foster children who are placed in foster homes and kinship homes in Gregg, Rusk, Harrison & Upshur counties.

Registration Fees:  

Individuals  -                          $65   until 4/19/20

                                                $80   starting 4/20/20 and at packet pickup at IHL and on race day

Athena & Clydesdale -          $65   until 4/19/20

                                                $80   starting 4/20/19 and at packet pickup at IHL and on race day

Relay Teams -                       $100  until 4/19/20

                                                 $150  starting 4/20/20 and at packet pickup at IHL and on race day

Packet Pickup @ IHL Friday, May 1 from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday, May 2 from 10 am - 5 pm.   Also available on race morning.  (Come Early!!)
